The Emerging of Satan's Church-The Modern Apostate Ecumenical Movement

The Emerging of Satan's Church-The Modern Apostate Ecumenical Movement Video Clips. Duration : 129.42 Mins.

Yoking with Satan in Jesus' name! There is great emphasis in the church today on uniting professing Christians of all denominations and beliefs. The message is that we're not so different after all... we can work together. 2nd Corinthians 6:14-17 forbids this! The apostate Billy Graham, leader of the Ecumenical Movement. This prophet for hire is 100 times worse than Balaam!!!Setting aside theological differences, we can help each other in the things we all agree upon. That effort is commonly referred to as "ecumenism," which is defined as "the organized attempt to bring about the cooperation and unity of all believers in Christ." The foundation for this ecumenical trend has been laid and built upon over many years. We saw the beginning of institutional ecumenism in the 1960's, with The World Council of Churches, mostly liberal mainline Protestant denominations who denied such essential doctrines as the inerrancy of Scripture and a literal, bodily resurrection of Christ. For years, Evangelicals distanced themselves from this institutional ecumenism because of the unsound theology of the groups involved. Today, however, that spirit of compromise has invaded Evangelicalism. The recent Catholic-Evangelical accord is an example of such compromise. In this accord, Evangelicals compromised essential doctrines such as justification by faith alone and the sufficiency of Scripture in order to unite with Roman Catholics on issues such as abortion and school prayer. He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not

Have you ever seen person do this or maybe you have done this yourself, take a daisy or some other kind of flower and start plucking off the pedals and repeating, "He loves me." "He loves me not." "He loves me." "He loves me not." Getting close to the last pedal we are hoping it will turn out to be, "He loves me."

I see and hear this blurring among Christians who are in the house of God. "God loves me." I'm not sure God loves me." "God loves me." "I'm not sure God loves me."

Building the Church - Sermon on Audio CD by Charles Spurgeon (1834-1892) Overview

"The Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved." (Acts 2:47)

"It seems from the text that the additions to the church which were made in the early spring of Pentecost did not always occur in one form, sometimes they came in crowds, and at other times by gradual increase. On one day there were three thousand added--that is an instance of mass conversions, when a nation is born all at once.

In such a work we are bound to believe; I mean not merely in the possibility of it, but in the probability of it, for it stands to reason that what would convince one man in a particular condition of heart would as readily convince three thousand or thirty thousand if they were in the same state.

Given the same soil, the same seed, the same season, and the same wonder-working God, and I cannot imagine any reason why there would be a limit set to the results. The Holy Spirit is divine, and consequently he knows how to influence all kinds of men and women, and he can by the instrumentalities now in use reach just as many as he pleases."

How can you and I be sure from one day to the next which it is? "He loves me." "He loves me not."

First, I think we need to ask ourselves, what is this love based on? Is it based on our feelings? Our emotions? Is it based on our performance? Is it based on us? Or is it based entirely on person or something else?

Maybe you have wondered if He was angry at you. Is He judging you? Is He punishing you? And maybe other questions come to your mind about your connection with Father God.

Getting answers to all of these questions is vital to our maintaining a salutary and fruitful connection with Father God. It is vital for us to have the write back to this quiz, of His love in order for Father God and the Word of God to be believable.

Love is vital for our faith to work. The Bible tells us in Gal 5:6 ......faith which worketh by love. Kjv absolutely no one can have real faith in person without knowing that person absolutely loves and cares for them and that they have their best interest at heart. Right?

No loving parent ever wants their children confused from time to time of their love for them. absolutely our Heavenly Father doesn't want us confused either. After all, this connection in the middle of Father God and us cost Him dearly, the death of His Son, Jesus Christ.

In 1 John 4, we read God is love. And I think that is where we need to start with this quiz, of either or not He loves us.

God is love. That is his nature. Love is at the very core of His being. When you see the word "love" then you should think of God, for He is love. He can't help himself. He just loves. If you don't mind me saying this, "God is a love machine." He just can't help himself. Love just oozes out of Him. And when you are in His nearnessy for very long, you just feel loved.

How about us going back to before the very foundation of this world. I think we can find something there to help us. I think it would do us good to read it very moderately in order to grasp the magnitude of what is being revealed.

Ephesians 1:4-13 Even as [in His love] He chose us [actually picked us out for Himself as His own] in Christ before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy (consecrated and set apart for Him) and blameless in His sight, even above reproach, before Him in love. 5 For He foreordained us (destined us, planned in love for us) to be adopted (revealed) as His own children straight through Jesus Christ, in accordance with the purpose of His will [because it pleased Him and was His kind intent] -- 6 [So that we might be] to the praise and the commendation of His glorious grace (favor and mercy), which He so freely bestowed on us in the Beloved. 7 In Him we have redemption (deliverance and salvation) straight through His blood, the remission (forgiveness) of our offenses (shortcomings and trespasses), in accordance with the riches and the generosity of His gracious favor, 8 Which He lavished upon us in every kind of wisdom and understanding (practical understanding and prudence), 9 making known to us the mystery (secret) of His will (of His plan, of His purpose). [And it is this:] In accordance with His good satisfaction (His merciful intention) which He had previously purposed and set forth in Him,10 [He planned] for the maturity of the times and the climax of the ages to unify all things and head them up and supreme them in Christ, [both] things in heaven and things on the earth. 11 In Him we also were made [God's] legacy (portion) and we obtained an inheritance; for we had been foreordained (chosen and appointed beforehand) in accordance with His purpose, Who works out all things in business agreement with the counsel and construct of His [own] will, 12 So that we who first hoped in Christ [who first put our reliance in Him have been destined and appointed to] live for the praise of His glory! 13 In Him you also who have heard the Word of Truth, the glad tidings (Gospel) of your salvation, and have believed in and adhered to and relied on Him, were stamped with the seal of the long-promised Holy Spirit. Amp

Do you feel loved? Do you feel special? Can you see the love of the Father is not based on you and your carrying out and never was? Can you see there is no condemnation to you who are in Christ Jesus? Can you see why Daddy is not mad at you? Can you see He loves you no matter what? Can you see there is no more judgment of sin due you, because Jesus took the judgment you deserved? Can you see that there is no punishment for your sin, because Jesus took the punishment you should have been given?

I do want to add this, you will reap the consequence of the sins of the flesh if you continue in them. I am talking about things like smoking, for example. Studies have proven that smoking can cause cancer. If you continue to smoke, you can construct cancer. If you continue to eat and become over weight or obese, then you can die of a heart attack, as well as, construct numerous other diseases and problems.

But I am not writing this description to condemn you. Condemnation never did help anyone in any situation.

I sincerely want you to know it is the unconditional love of Father God and His love alone that is going to give you the desire to quit what you are doing, give you the drive to quit and totally deliver you from any addiction. His love is that powerful!

That is why you can't afford to doubt his unconditional love for you. It is a medical love, a delivering love, a love that gives hope and peace and brings you to a state of rest and reliance that you can make it straight through anything.

Father God's love is unconditional love and therefore it is not based on you and your past, gift or time to come performance. Jesus Christ's death, burial, resurrection and ascension is the warrant of it.

So stop plucking those pedals of doubt concerning Father God's love for you and start receiving His unconditional love. For this love, is the love you have been waiting for all of your life. It is the love that gives hope, peace and real joy in a world looking for real love. You can receive it any time, because it is not based on you, but on Jesus. Then you can start passing out His unconditional love, assuring other Christians they don't have to pluck those pedals in doubt any more either.

In order for us to apply this truth to our lives, let's make this very leading confession of our faith with these scriptures:

Father God is love. And in order to satisfy His imaginable love for me, Father God made me one of His children. He is now my Father and I am one of His loved children and it all came about by His unconditional love toward me and not what I have done or could ever do. I am absolutely special! That is how my Father God thinks about me. He absolutely view of me and prepared for me before even anyone began on planet earth. He chose me then, picking me out for His own. He even saw me then in Christ Jesus, holy and without any sin before Him. His faith was in full force, looking at me! He planned in His love to make me one of His children. Of which I confidently confess, "I am a child of Father God." This was Father's kind intent toward me. This was all done so He could show his powerful love, grace, favor and mercy toward me, which he so freely lavished on me, His popular child. Father is waiting to pour out His unconditional love on me. And I won't keep Him waiting."

Objects Needed:

One plastic bottle of water; one plastic bottle of Sprite or 7-Up-enough to give the whole class a full glass. Two clear drinking glasses, either plastic or glass. Small cups-enough for each child to have one.

Bible Object chapter for Kids:

The apostle Paul says in 2 Corinthians 5:17, "If anything is in Christ, he is a new creature. The old things have passed away; behold, new things have come." It's sort of like these two bottles here.

Hold up water in left hand, soda in right hand.

In my left hand, I have a bottle of water. Have a student open the bottle.

Let's pour some in a glass. Have the student take the bottle and pour some in a cup. Tell the student to sit back down.

In my right hand, I have a bottle of Sprite. Let's pour some of that in a glass. Have another student take the bottle and break the seal on the cap. This time stop her.

Did you hear that? What kind of a noise did that bottle just make? They should reply that the fizz created a squirting noise.

This bottle sounds more "alive" than the plain water, didn't it? Have the student pour some soda into the other cup.

What is this liquid doing that the other didn't do? It's sizzling and sparkling. Have the student sit down.

Before we give our lives to Jesus, we're a minute like this plain water. We look okay, but we're kind of bland. We're kind of boring.

After we give our lives to Jesus, we're more like this soda pop. We sparkle. We come alive.

Now let's observation something about the two glasses. If we don't touch either for a minute or so...do they look sort of the same? Yes, they look very much the same. They're both clear. But one makes a sparkle every once in a while.

Often times in life, Christians look very much the same as other people. But when it comes time to show the love of Jesus in our lives, we tend to sparkle. How do we do that? How do we get the power to look more sparkly than others? God fills us with his love and power, which makes us different.

Colossians 3:1 says it very well: "If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sets at the right hand of God... Set your affections on things above, not on things of the earth." If we convention that all the time, we will sparkle.

So, once God fills us, one of two things can happen. Put the lid on the bottle.

We can keep our sparkle or... Take the lid off again and toss it to a student.

What happens when we leave the cap off a bottle of pop overnight? It loses its sparkle.

It becomes like the water again, doesn't it? No sparkle? Who wants to drink flat soda? As Christians, we want to keep our sparkle. Ask for the cap back from the student and hold it up.

If we're going to act like new creations, we have to take care to preserve our sparkle. We have to ask for God's protection.

The bottle cap is like God's protection. We have to put it on... We have to ask God for it. Put the cap on the bottle but leave it loose.

Pray, "Father, I ask that you safe our Christian sparkle. Help us to resist temptation when we're with kids who are doing things you wouldn't like..." Screw the lid on with one twist.

"Father, help us remember to speak with you every day so that you can make us stronger." Give the lid another twist.

"Use us, Father, so that others may know you because we sparkle from your love and power." Give the lid a final twist.

"Amen."

Pass out cups. And of procedure it's surely leading when you're God's new creation, that you share your sparkle with others!

Put some sprite into the cups and have a drink together to celebrate a prosperous Bible object lesson.

Bible Object Lessons for Kids: "Fizzy Faith" Bottle Cap partAll religions are feathers of the same bird (God) Tube. Duration : 7.75 Mins.

All the religions in the world are the feathers of the same bird ie, God with different colours. There is only one God and there is only one universe. Similarly the man is also only one. Man should aim that one God and he should belong to all the religions in the universe. He should pick up the diamonds from all the religions and use in his spiritual path. One can have love towards the nationality. Every nation has some physical boundaries. The people who are living in that nation have that nationality. Thus there is a meaning in the nationality because it has physical sense. But in the case of religion and spiritualism there is no physical sense. Every religion belongs to every man. Therefore in religious and spiritual matters all the religions can be used. The human incarnation in every religion announces that He is the universal preacher. The message of Lord Krishna ie, Bhagavat Gita is for the entire world. The message of Jesus ie, Bible is for the entire world. The message of Mohammed is for the entire world. So there is no need of conversion of religions. Just like in science the invention of Einstein is useful for the whole world, every religious preaching is for everybody. Different scientists belonging to different countries have discovered different scientific inventions. The subject science contains all these inventions. If any invention is removed the science become discontinuous. Similarly the spiritualism consists of the preaching of the preachers belonging ...

Bible Verses - Encouraging Inspirational Bible Verses

Tragic and heartbreaking situations can happen in life at any moment and test the courage of even the strongest individuals. These troubling events can take the form of an unexpected death, serious illness or accident, job loss, foreclosure, bankruptcy, divorce, home destruction or Id theft. They can seem astounding and hopeless. But regardless of the circumstances, there is all the time hope, encouragement and inspiration found in the messages and verses of the best selling book of all time-The Holy Bible.

This past year was very difficult for many people. They made bad mistakes, endured personal trials, or experienced astounding loss. Frequently things don't all the time turn out as expected. When that happens, we often wonder about the victory God promised in the Christian life. "Is there any purpose in going on? Things seem so meaningless and empty. Are You still with me, Lord?" These are some of the questions that come to mind.

Bible Scriptures On Faith

I want to assure you that there is hope and success for everyone straight through Christ. When you trust Him as your Savior, Jesus promises that He will never leave nor abandon you. His grace for you is renewed every day. As the prophet Jeremiah was enduring his most painful trial, he wrote, "Yet I still dare to hope when I remember this: the unfailing love of the Lord never ends! By His mercies we have been kept from complete destruction. Great is His faithfulness; His mercies begin afresh each day." (Lamentations 3: 21-23).

Lost Christianities: The Battles for Scripture and the Faiths We Never Knew Best

Lost Christianities: The Battles for Scripture and the Faiths We Never Knew Overview

The early Christian Church was a chaos of contending beliefs. Some groups of Christians claimed that there was not one God but two or twelve or thirty. Some believed that the world had not been created by God but by a lesser, ignorant deity. Certain sects maintained that Jesus was human but not divine, while others said he was divine but not human.

In Lost Christianities, Bart D. Ehrman offers a fascinating look at these early forms of Christianity and shows how they came to be suppressed, reformed, or forgotten. All of these groups insisted that they upheld the teachings of Jesus and his apostles, and they all possessed writings that bore out their claims, books reputedly produced by Jesus's own followers. Modern archaeological work has recovered a number of key texts, and as Ehrman shows, these spectacular discoveries reveal religious diversity that says much about the ways in which history gets written by the winners. Ehrman's discussion ranges from considerations of various "lost scriptures"--including forged gospels supposedly written by Simon Peter, Jesus's closest disciple, and Judas Thomas, Jesus's alleged twin brother--to the disparate beliefs of such groups as the Jewish-Christian Ebionites, the anti-Jewish Marcionites, and various "Gnostic" sects. Ehrman examines in depth the battles that raged between "proto-orthodox Christians"--those who eventually compiled the canonical books of the New Testament and standardized Christian belief--and the groups they denounced as heretics and ultimately overcame.

Scrupulously researched and lucidly written, Lost Christianities is an eye-opening account of politics, power, and the clash of ideas among Christians in the decades before one group came to see its views prevail.

Remember that God provides His mercy and the occasion to discover His victory in all your circumstances. This doesn't necessarily mean that you will never again caress bad times. In fact, you may be faced with situations that require a lot of stamina, courage and effort. However, the Lord is with you each and every step of the way. His grace can sustain you regardless of what happens.

Here are five points that recapitulate how God's grace can sustain you straight through tough times:

First, He reminds you what Jesus concluded on the cross. As you place your trust in Christ, you no longer need to carry the shame and guilt of  sin because He has thoroughly pardoned you. 1 John 1:9 reads: "But if we confess our sins to Him, He is careful and just to forgive us and to cleanse us from every wrong." You come to be reconciled to Him, and He hands you the relaxation to forgive yourself.

Secondly, the Lord releases His supernatural power to keep you going despite your pain, suffering, and loss. Ephesians 1:19-20 reads: "I pray that you will begin to understand the thinkable, greatness of His power for us who believe Him. This is the same distinguished power that raised Christ from the dead and seated Him in the place of honor at God's right hand in the heavenly realms." This same power that was gift at the resurrection enables you to triumph in your trials and tribulations. As you seek God straight through reading daily Bible verses and prayer, the Holy Spirit teaches you what to do and guides you with His wisdom.

Third, God stirs up the desire within you to persevere. Even in the toughest times, the Father has promised to turn your hardship into something positive. Romans 8:28 states: "And we know that God causes all things to work together for the good of those who love God and are called agreeing to His purpose for them." during bad times, He teaches you His ways, draws you closer into a relationship with Him, and develops your full potential. This is why you never need to concede your joy and peace when facing troubles because God is developing qualities that will be favored once the difficulties pass. Romans 5:3-5 reads: "We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they are good for us-they help us learn to endure."

Next, the Lord reminds you that He is continually with you as your Protector, Provider, and Comforter. Your friends or house may desert you, but God will never abandon you. Deuteronomy 31:6 reads: "Be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid of them! The Lord your God will go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor forsake you."  No matter what you face, you are never alone. Luke 1:37 states: "For nothing is impossible with God." The One who helps you can overcome any obstacle, challenge, or dilemma that comes your way.

Finally, you are assured that God has located constraints on your adversities. The Lord is aware of your limits and weaknesses. Psalm 16:11 reads, "You will make known to me the path of life; in Your nearnessy is abundance of joy; in Your right hand there are pleasures forever." The Lord will show you what to do and instruct you how to live daily life at its very best. Your accountability is to stay focused on His will. But how do we stay obedient to God so we can fully sense His faithfulness?

Here are six thoughts to consider:

1) Seek God's counseling. Living a godly life does not come surely or plainly to any of us. Neither does trusting and submitting to the Father's will. Yet he will teach us how to consequent Him and live a life that is pleasing to Him. God will also show us that we can all the time have faith in His faultless character. You can find the answers to any life questions in encouraging bible verses. You pick the topic. It could be desiring a life filled with abundance and prosperity, for example.

2) Be aware and listen to God. Giving attentiveness to how the Lord is directing you is necessary to walking with Him and remaining in the center of His will. If you never scrutinize how to hear His voice, you will never be able to trust Him fully or grow as a consequent of what He is doing in your life. Daily, get in the habit of reading encouraging bible verses and daily devotions.

3) scrutinize God's help and provision. Sometimes the Lord will be specific about what He desires for you to do or what He will accomplish in your life. This is because the more fascinating the path before you, the more He will have to help you. God wants you to have faith and depend upon Him. So look for the small ways He answers your prayers, the doors He opens and the ways He meets your needs step by step. Praise His intimate involvement in every information of your daily living.

4) Focus on God's character, not on your circumstances. This is necessary to the trials you face. Don't dwell on the problems. Focus on His promises. Knowing that God will never forsake you will help you face every obstacle with hope and persistence.

5) Recall God's victories. Psalm 63:7-8 reads, "Because you are my help, I sing in the shadow of Your wings. My soul clings to You; Your right hand upholds me". It's important to remember all the ways the Lord has helped you so you can remain inevitable and courageous in the face of every obstacle.

6) Cultivate a godlike life by meditating on encouraging bible verses. God wants you to be successful, which is why He all the time admonishes you to cling to His word. In the Bible, you'll find the unchanging ideas to help you live in a manner that is pleasing and honoring to Him. So read encouraging and inspirational bible verses with joy, knowing that all He has done for His population in the past, He will do for you too when you trust Him and obey His commands.

Without inquire God is surely just in holding His promises. So as you are confronted by difficult situations in the arrival year, commit yourself to seeking Him, observing His commands, watching for His help, maintaining your focus on Him, recalling His faithfulness, and embracing His word found in bible verses. Your divine Father wants the very best for you, and He will never lead you astray. So focus on His will, and you will sense living at its very fullest.

The Bible contains numerous prosperity scriptures that supply insights and instructions for reaching our true potential.  When diligently applied, these key system originate a prosperity climate surrounding our lives.  I strongly believe that when we are in the right place, doing the right things, with the right frame of mind, then God moves on our behalf.

God's instructions to Joshua, Israel's new leader after the death of Moses, provides us with seven key system for achieving "Good Success".  By applying them to his life Joshua was able to lead the children of Israel to victory after victory as they conquered the land of Canaan.

In four short bible verses, Joshua 1:6-9, these prosperity system are revealed.  As you read them think these questions:

  • Can Prosperity be reached on purpose and not by chance or luck?
  •  Could we originate or make our own path Prosperous?
  •  What causes "Good Success"?

"Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this habitancy shalt thou divide for an patrimony the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them.  Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest eye to do agreeing to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest.  This book of the law shall not leave out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest eye to do agreeing to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.  Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest." (Joshua 1: 6-9)

Prosperity Principle 1:  Be Strong

Strength is advanced over time.  It takes repeating the same exercises to institute strength. Consistent Bible Study and Prayer are two spiritual exercises we need to practice.  In Jude lesson 1, we are encouraged to build ourselves up on our most holy faith by praying in the Holy Ghost. Remember, as it is in the natural or bodily realm, so it is from a spiritual perspective.

Joshua followed Moses for over 40 years before he was deemed ready for leadership of the group, but he exhibited leadership throughout his tenure as a chief lieutenant of Moses.

We must not exertion to lift too much too early. We must start believing God for the penny loafers, before we can trust him to give us "alligator shoes".  impel comes with practice.

Prosperity Principle 2: Have Courage

Just being strong is not enough.  Oftentimes, we possess the ability, but lack the conclude to act.  Having Courage is about facing our fears and keen on in faith.

Prosperity Principle 3:  Listen to Your Spiritual Leaders (Fathers)

God provides us with spiritual Elders or Fathers, those who have already been strong followers of God.  They have shown the ability to believe God and move forward.  We are encouraged to learn from them and to supervene their example.  Joshua listened and learned from Moses' example.

Prosperity Principle 4:  Study God's Word for Yourselves

Individual Bible Study is very important.  Although, others can teach us godly principles, we must remember them for ourselves.  Hide them in our heart and Meditate on them day and night.  The devil, our enemy, may charge us when we don't have our bible handy or when we can't call person for help.  Then we need to know the Word for ourselves.

Prosperity Principle 5: supervene God's Instructions

Often we know what to do, but we won't supervene instructions.  Just in case, we speak a "Plan B" as if God's instructions won't work.  Don't turn to the "Right or Left". Stay Focused on God's plan for our life.

Prosperity Principle 6:  Start Doing and Make Your Way Prosperous

Once we know what to do, then start doing it.  Nike didn't institute the phrase "Just Do It".  God did it first!

This is a walk by faith, not sight or feelings.  As we go, we start to lease new ground and to possess new territory in our lives.  By going in faith and with a inevitable belief in God, "We Can Make Our Way Prosperous."

Prosperity Principle 7:  Don't Be Afraid or Puzzled

We can't be Afraid or Puzzled if things don't work as soon as we planned.

The bible says, "Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great bonus of reward.  For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise."  (Hebrews 10:35 -36).

We must keep our belief and wait on God to fulfill  his promises to us.

Psalm 91

Over the years Psalm 91 has been fondly referred to as the foxhole Psalm, and for good reason. Straight through countless wars soldiers have turned to Psalm 91 for encouragement and comfort. Soldiers have recited it, prayed it, confessed it. Even house members of those soldiers were doing the same thing.

Why turn to Scripture?
Faith-filled prayer is powerful. But, when destruction is knocking at the door or rolling over the horizon, it's hard to keep the emotions and intellect in line adequate to pray with inescapable faith. Fear, anxiety and fretting take over. This is not the most efficient stance from which to pray. Not at all!

Bible Scriptures On Faith

So, a potent antidote: pray scripture, more specifically pray Psalm 91. The Psalm becomes a guide, a mentor for praying with belief and belief, no matter how bad the situation you are facing.

Why turn to Psalm 91?
Authorship of Psalm 91 is not conclusively established. But, Bible scholars do seem to agree that either Moses or David penned this one in their later lives. Both of these men learned to trust God and walk with Him Straight through the most hair-raising scenarios. The life of either of them could be turned into an action-packed, suspense-filled Tv mini-series.

And, it would all be true.

So, when a champion of faith is inspired by God to write encouragement to all who will follow, we sit up and take notice. Best yet, we stand up in prayer and fly the banner this champion is passing on. We take up the images and the wording of Psalm 91 to use in our own prayers.

God is truthful to protect and deliver. He is your fortress, high tower, the place where we can run to be safe. The key to this protection is in the first verse. We must stay close, abide in Him, let Him be the underground Place, an additional one reality in which to be rooted.

Praying Psalm 91 in a continual way is one recipe for staying close and abiding in God.

Why pray continually?
Keeping a scripture like Psalm 91 rolling over and over in prayer works wonders in overcoming negative, fear-filled self-talk. So two things are ended in this prayer:

One The power of Heaven is released into the situation you are praying about. Remember, the Word of God is alive and active, alive with His power. And, you are now releasing it. Is that a mind-boggling concept?

Two As you pray Psalm 91 your mind is being renewed agreeing to the promises of God. Your thinking changes. And as your thinking changes, your behavior changes. That is how it works. thinking controls behavior.

Back to the foxhole image: It has long been known that soldiers who are confident, who have fear under operate are much more likely to survive a battle.

Pray with Psalm 91 and way increase your chances of surviving the battle you now face.
